New Cake Workshops for 2020: Watercolor Buttercream

We know that there are very few opportunities in the PNW to learn highly specialized cake decorating techniques from professional cake artists. We’re working hard to address this issue, and we’d love for you to drop us a line (by filling in our contact form on the Classes page) to let us know if you have a “dream workshop” that you’d like us to offer.

Meanwhile: We’re so pleased a new series of workshops for 2020, starting with a half-day class specifically for those who are seeking to acquire foundational skills in baking and buttercream.

Our WATERCOLOR BUTTERCREAM WORKSHOP will be held on two separate dates next year (so you can choose the one that suits you best! Here’s a super brief overview of what we’ll cover:

  • Baking tools

  • Pro tips for baking a cake from scratch

  • Filling and frosting a cake to perfection

  • Demystifying the process of making Swiss meringue buttercream

  • Modern watercolor buttercream gradients

  • Buttercream overlay texture

  • And more!

You’ll leave the studio with a gorgeous cake of your own — along with a whole new set of skills.

Skill Level: All are welcome, whether you're a complete beginner who has never baked or decorated a cake before, or you're a keen baker and are looking to raise your game. The class size is small enough for each person to receive the attention they need.

CHOOSE YOUR DATE:

Friday, January 10th, 2020 (1-6PM)

OR:

Sunday, May 3rd, 2020 (1-6PM)

TUITION: $350.00

To book your place in either the January or the May workshop, visit our class page at BROWN PAPER TICKETS.
