Just in time for Valentine's Day, we now offer macarons, a.k.a. macaroons, light-as-air cookies first developed in France in the 18th century. They are made from almond paste, egg whites, and sugar, and then flavored with a variety of delicious additions.

Our favorite?  The raspberry macaron, of course.

And in other news, bookings for wedding season 2011 are filling up! We've got a few delightful cakes in the works, including a three-tiered confection inspired by a Mark Joseph cake that the bride loved, and a five-tier beauty based on a Peggy Porschen design (with our own Honey Crumb design twist).  It's going to be an exciting season for Oregon brides!

Note that we've simplified the "Pricing" section of our website to make it easier for couples to calculate the base price for their cakes.  We're scheduling cake tastings and consultations for summer, so give us a call or e-mail us if you're getting married in the Eugene area this year and you'd like a Honey Crumb custom cake.
